Who Knew?

I thought this summer was going to be pretty uneventful for me. Boy was I wrong. This is only the second day I've been home since summer began! It all started two Fridays ago when my parents and I headed to Moab to spend a lovely weekend with Lyn, Nick, and Cole. We hiked to the Delicate Arch (the famous arch on the Utah license plate), went to an art festival, shopped on Main Street, ate some delicious food, and perhaps my favorite part, made S'mores in our hotel room :) We got home Sunday night after stopping in Goblin Valley. We went crazy hiking, climbing, and exploring in the valley. We were such little explorers. Our adventures there were so much fun, I would highly recommend going! Monday morning I packed my car, picked up Marissa, and headed to BYU for EFY. This was my last year to go to EFY so I wanted it to be the best yet, which would be pretty hard because I have had the best EFY experiences, ever. It definitely was a different year haha but it turned out to be another great experience despite less fortunate circumstances than years past. I loved my group, Zion, and had SUCH an amazing and spiritual week! We headed home on Saturday. Sunday, I got a call from my sister Meg in California saying she needed me to drive to our other sister, Lynnie's, house in Colorado with her so her husband could get some emergency dental work done by our talented dentist bro-in-law. So, she drove to STG, picked me up, and we headed on our way to Colorado. We spent the next couple days hanging out, shopping, playing games, and watching movies. On our way home we stopped in Moab and did another arch hike! We got home last night and this morning I woke up and went to my first day of work :) As you can see, my summer so far has been anything but uneventful!
This was possible the most delicious breakfast cafe i've ever eaten at!

 Isn't it delicate?

 S'mores night, my favorite :)
 Goblin Valley!

 I love a man with a mustache.
Girls pizza night-- we did the Haka for our cheer, that's why we look so scary :)
 Love these girls!
I ran into my long lost best friend, Kole Halladay, who I adore
We also ran into some SC friends! And Bro. Jensen, our sem teacher at SC was our session director.
This is Kaelynne, the most beautiful and talented counselor in the world.
 Zion :)
This is Tyler! He kept me entertained all week. He recorded every second of EFY and is putting a video on Youtube :)
Bieber and the boys were possible my favorite part of EFY :)

Thanks for watching the boys! And from the looks of it, your summer is going to be anything but boring :)
