This weekend was one of those really good ones. We got out of school early on Friday because our girls went to state basketball.. and won! Bri invited me to go to Salt Lake with her to watch the So You Think You Can Dance auditions, so her, Tay, Jess, and I packed up and hit the road that night. We woke up bright and early to stand in the freezing cold waiting to go into the auditions (it was pretty obvious we were the wimps from St. George, huddled together without pants or jackets). Once we thawed out inside, watching the auditions was so worth it!! We were in the same room with Nigel Lythgoe, Adam Shankman, and Kat Deely for goodness sake! The rest of the day consisted of a few more of my favorite things: The Pie Pizzeria, H&M, massage chairs, and The Cheesecake Factory of course. We made a fantastic weekend even better by going to Elder Nelson's homecoming on our way home Sunday! He gave the greatest talk ever and I got to see him for the first time in 2 and a half years! You could say I was a little excited.
I love great weekends :)
