Cheers

What I've learned my first day in London.
  • lift=elevator
  • chips=french fries
  • There is nothing cuter in this world than kids with English accents.
  • Basically, everyone is more attractive with an English accent.
  • Everyone lied to me about London being freezing. It was 50 today and perfect.
  • They're serious when they say mind the gap.
  • Fish and chips are the best in British Pubs.
  • The architecture here. Wow.
  • Cheers is a good way to say see ya.
  • Milkshakes in England aren't the same as American milkshakes
  • Primark is like the H&M of England and it's fantastic.
  • Separate hot and cold faucets are really inconvenient.
  • The only M&M World outside of the U.S. is in London.
In other news, a house a couple down from ours caught on fire and there were firemen/trucks on our street all day. They blocked off our street from both sides and we had to be escorted by a fireman every time we came and went!
