Reeses Pumpkins and Hocus Pocus.. It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year

Remember how I'm a little obsessed with Halloween? I just want to further prove that. Because really, how can you not love the month of October? It's filled with happy things like pumpkin scented candles, yellow leaves falling from the trees and all over the ground, Reeses pumpkins, and Hocus Pocus. LIFE IS SO GOOD. I wish it could be October all year. Not really though because then it wouldn't be as special.

Anyway, here's a little more of what we've been up to this wonderful month!

Remember our dollar store decorations? We saw my mama last weekend and she brought us my real decorations! Hooray! Now our house could be in a Halloween home tour ;)

My mom made this darling wall hanging! She's amazing!!

She also made this pillow! Like I said, she's amazing!

You guessed it, she made the banner :) Everyone needs a Lexie Rolfe in their life.

Halloween just would not be Halloween without Hocus Pocus. We made this glorious purchase at Wal Mart for $7 and I would highly recommend it :)

We spent last weekend in Salt Lake with most of our family and had so much fun!! I especially enjoyed going to Gardner Village, one of my all time favorite Halloween locations. They deck out all of their little shops and it feels like you've stepped into Halloweentown (another great movie we've watched this Halloween season). I could seriously live there.

We also went to a local pumpkin patch with our friends! We picked pumpkins, went on a hay ride, and buried Seth in a giant corn bath :)

So in case you haven't gotten this from this post yet, I LOVE OCTOBER. I'm so grateful that God created seasons. Especially this beautiful one! On a happy side not, Ben and I have officially spent every season together (as a couple)! I love creating traditions and memories and can't wait to spend future Octobers with our future kiddos (I'm already day dreaming about trick or treating and Halloween parties, haha).  I may or may not have asked Ben multiple times if we can borrow children so that we can go trick or treating. Luckily, he doesn't think I'm too crazy. Yet. :)

Happy Halloweening! Let's make this October last as long as we can!

xoxo

I love your decorations! And I totally agree that everyone needs a Lexie. Seriously, aren't we lucky? Oh, and your pumpkin picture is the best. My fave. You know, I happen to have three kiddos hanging around that would be completely thrilled to have Trick-or-treating partners. Just saying ...

PS - I'm always logged in under Nick's account. Sorry. Just know it's always me:)
