Beck-- 0-2 Months

I forgot to write a 1 month blog post for Beck (2nd child problems, sorry buddy) so here is a combined post all about the things we want to remember about Beck's first couple months :)

• He is a very sleepy baby! The first couple of days we spent in the hospital I would have to have a nurse come in and help me wake him up to eat because he just slept and slept and did not want to be woken up! They said chunky babies are usually sleepy and that was definitely true for Beck, haha. Since coming home, he spends most of the day sleeping but he's gotten a lot better at waking up to eat :) Just this last couple weeks he's starting to be more alert during the day and spending more time awake and we're now on a good Eat, Wake, Sleep cycle. 
• He has the most calm, content little spirit. Even when he is awake he's just quiet and peaceful. Sometimes I don't even realize he's woken up from a nap until I look over and see him just laying there looking around, calm as ever. He likes to take everything in around him and doesn't mind just observing what's going on. He hardly cries. When he's hungry, he'll just start to make little noises until I feed him. When you give him your full, undivided attention, though, he will reward you with the biggest gummy smiles and happy noises and it makes you love him even more!! If he maintains his stature, he's going to be one of those big manly guys with a soft heart ♡
• Is really patient with his sister, haha. She loves touching his head, holding his hands, playing with his toes, and sharing her toys with him, and he contently lets her do what she pleases without making a peep. Sometimes I'll catch him just watching her with a little smile on his face when she's playing by him and it melts my heart. 
• Is getting really good at holding his head up during tummy time. He used to just lay on the floor, or fall asleep haha, when I would lay him on his tummy, but now he's really alert and likes to look around and try to roll over (he actually rolled over a few times tonight!). This is a big feat for him because his head is huge, haha.  He was born with literal neck rolls on the back of his neck and hasn't lost them :)
• Loves his swing! It's his favorite place to nap, which is what he spends a lot of time doing, as I mentioned!
• Would pee on me literally every time I changed his diaper the first few weeks-- and not once on Ben! 
• Only likes MAM binkies
• Loves bath time!
• Is the sweetest addition to our family that we could ever ask for!
