MoTab

Last night the Mormon Tabernacle Choir performed at Dixie State.  The tickets were a little pricey, but since my wonderful mother works at Deseret Book, Dad and I got to go for free! We even got to sit on the front row next to the choir's physician, it was great. The performance was absolutely amazing.  They performed patriotic songs because President's Day is right around the corner. They also sang Are You From Dixie and had our Mayor go up and sing with them (me and Dad sang along because we both know that song and our very proud to be from dixie :)). They ended with the Battle Hymn of the Republic that they actually won a Grammy for a few years ago, it was amazing. My favorite song I'd have to say though was Cindy, an American Folk song. It was really upbeat and the whole choir was clapping and shouting, it was great!
Now I have a new goal, to be in the Orchestra at Temple Square.
