'Tis the Season

This December has been the best. Seriously, it was so great that it flew by and I didn't even get a chance to post about it. So, now I'll do a little recap. It won't do this wonderful month justice, but it will have to suffice. First of all, December is probably my favorite month because it's the month of Christmas and I LOVE Christmastime. Since this year was my last Christmas season at home I made sure and filled all of my time with everything festive. Here's a glance at my holly jolly month:
  • Dicken's Festival
  • Live Nativity
  • Looked at Christmas lights at the temple, town square, and around town multiple times
  • Watched just about every Christmas movie known to man
  • Had a white elephant party (FCCLA)
  • Participated in lots of good service projects! (Kony Coins for kids penny wars and wrapping presents-sem council, Beehive homes Christmas picture frames-YCC, Christmas cookies and caroling at the Meadows-FCCLA were some big ones)
  • Got a REAL Christmas tree for the first time!!
  • Listened to Christmas music 24/7, baked delicious food/treats, and wore festive sweaters
  • Made gingerbread houses
  • Saw Home Alone at the theatre for $2!
  • Shopped my heart out
  • Played lots of Christmas music on my violin.. Meg and I even did a few duets on Christmas Eve :)
As you can tell I don't waste time during the holiday season. And I love every minute of it! A few non-festive things worth metioning also happened this month...
I won Sterling Scholar in FACS!! and Lyn had her baby, little miss Maliya! She is seriously a little angel and since she's a premie she looks like a miniature baby it's adorable.
In case any of you have been wondering since I left you hanging for a while--me and this cute boy are still together, which made everything this season even better :)

Happy Holidays! I hope your days were as merry and bright as mine :)
