Seriously, time is moving so fast I'm having an extremely hard time keeping up with it. Honestly, wasn't it JUST Christmas break?? Now it's the last quarter of school and my birthday is a week away? I don't even believe it. Last week was especially speedy. I'm pretty sure I've been in Utah Valley more than St. George lately and it's starting to feel like I already live there! I went to up north Tuesday-Thursday for the state FCCLA STAR competition. After a rough start (9 hour bus ride with 40+ middle and high schoolers, sitting next to a group of 8th grade boys from Enterprise who seriously deserved a slap in the face--and almost got one) we made it to the competition. I'll spare you the details and skip to the good part... I won a gold medal for my project! :) Hooray!
After being home for less than 12 hours, Meg invited me to go to Provo with her and R Dawg for the weekend, and honestly who can pass up a weekend in Provo? I obliged, obviously. So I hopped right back in the car and headed back up north for a few days. Yes, I know I'm crazy. We ate some ridiculously good ice cream, shopped our hearts out at IKEA, went bowling at BYU, and played the most intense game of 20 questions ever. Oh, and Asher decided we're BFFs.. best day of my life. It was a good time! I cannot wait to move to Provo since I might as well live there now, or at least it feels like it sometimes, but I have a feeling that day is going to come a lot faster than I think if time keeps moving like it has.
Life is crazy and I love it.
