Spring Break 2012 was top notch. It started out with the annual March Mayhem basketball game. YCC helped out with the spirit comp and SC got involved for the first year (woot!) and actually won 2nd place! This year's game was a huge success and a ton of fun. Props to Daddio for creating this marvelous event.
Sunday we left town for California and something happened that I never thought would happen, we stopped in LV and bought me an Iphone!!! I've been pining for one for quite some time now and even though I had to pay for half and it was my graduation present, I was ecstatic to say the least. So, all the pictures you are about to see are compliments of that little beaut.
My parents and I did something we'd never done before on this trip, we spent three days in Disneyland! Although our feet have some serious permanent damage, it was totally worth it. We spent time doing the extra shows and such we usually don't bother with (World of Color, Aladdin, Firework show, Fantasmic) and realized we've seriously been missing out. I don't think I'll be able to go on another trip to Dland without seeing all of the shows. They're fantastic. We also spent some quality time at the beach and did quite a bit of shopping (no surprise there). All in all, it was the perfect week. I was in dire need of a get away. Who knew the end of senior year could be so busy and insane? Aren't I supposed to be slacking off and doing nothing?? Haha, anyway, I'm so grateful for my parents, they are seriously the best and I'm going to miss them like crazy when I move. I mean really, what other teenager likes to hang out with their parents let alone spend a week vacation with them? Yep, I'm a weirdo.
Although I do love my parents, I love my friends a lot too. When I got back in town we spent the rest of spring break cruising the Vard, having heart to hearts, and celebrating St. Patty's (watching Luck of the Irish, drinking virgin Margaritas, and eating mint chocolate Oreo truffles--yeah, we know how to celebrate)

Despite the much needed break, my Senioritis is at it's worst. 8 more weeks until I'm officially done with high school! Hallelujah.
