As excited as I am for college, I'm really sad to be leaving St. George. Seriously, I love St. George so much. I can't imagine living anywhere else.
I love that my parents, 2 sisters, 1 brother-in-law, 2 nephews, and grandparents all live here
I love that when I walk around my neighborhood I have memories in almost every house
I love that it's warm almost all year
I love that I can drive less than an hour in any direction and go hiking in a state/national park
I love going to the STG ocean at night and having the cops come and get mad at all the kids even though they know it happens every night and kids still go every night
I love going to Iceberg after football games and during Spring Break when it's packed
I love the Farmers Markets
I love the Marathon, Senior Games, Art Festival, Dickens Festival, and Jubilee of Trees
I love going to shows at Tuacahn and eating puffy popcorn and frozen lemonade
I love the song Are You from Dixie and every time Mayor Mcarthur sings it
I love the cows in Santa Clara during Swiss Days
I love the Parade of Homes
I love driving on country roads
I love country music, especially 99.9 Kony Country!
I love the Red Rocks and red dirt that gets on everything
I love the Dixie Roundup Rodeo
I love the Washington County Fair
I love GoGo 37, $1 cupcakes at 25 Main, and Bear Paw's famous Belgian Waffles on Main St.
I love my Southern Utah 'accent' (even if I do sound like a hick)
I love that people fish in ponds around town
I love that the whole town goes to Vernon Werthen Park to watch fireworks on the 4th of July
I love cruising the Boul
I love when we light up the D
I love ice blocking on the golf courses
I could go on forever. It's been a good 10 years, STG. Love your happiest resident and life-long fan.
