College is hard, but I love it anyway. Weekends are always much appreciated. Want to hear about mine?
Friday night my best friends were in the Miss UVU Pageant! They are both so gorgeous and talented and were so much fun to watch. I may or may not have cried when Tayler sang for her talent. I sat with both of their families and we made quite the cheering section. One thing I love about the trin is that all of us are basically a part of each others families. When I walked into the pageant, tay's whole family ran up to me and hugged me like I was their own and I was just as excited to see them. I love having three moms, six sisters, and four dogs. It's a really good perk of being best friends for seven years. Anyway, sorry for the major tangent, I love my best friends (and our family) and am so proud of them.
Saturday was cleaning check day, oh joy. The upside to cleaning checks though is that Alpine makes us a huge free breakfast that is always delicious. So that was cool. After writing some missionaries and catching up on homework, Tay and I picked up free pumpkins from Malawi's for the 1st annual pumpkin parade (hooray!) and scored free crepes for lunch. That night we went to Brent's pumpkin carving party and had a ball listening to halloween music, eating halloween candy, and of course carving pumpkins. We had a sleepover and went to ward conference in the morning. It was divine. The rest of our Sunday consisted of two homemade (and delicious) meals, stalking boys from our balcony, cinnamon roll dutch apple pie, the movie Up, and the best chocolate chip cookie dough cupcakes I've ever had in my life. Oh, and we watched the Walking Dead with the gang. And guess who was home when we got home? Tiana!! We missed our Califonia girl for sure.
It was definitely a top notch weekend. Mainly because we jammed to Christmas music everytime we got in the car.
Yes, the kitty and puppy pumpkins are me and tays. Shocker.
9 days until Halloween! Let the AMC Fear Fast and ABC 13 days of Halloween watching begin!
