- The Lake District is absolutely beautiful. Seriously it looks like the places you see in movies and go "I wish I could go/live there". Someday I will go there in the spring or summer when everything is in full bloom and it isn't freezing.
- On our road trip last week we hiked to a mini Stonehenge. It was so incredibly beautiful. I've always wanted to go to Ireland because of the beginning of the movie P.S. I Love You. This place looked just like the scene in that movie I've dreamed about. I'm contemplating checking it off my bucket list.
- We stayed in Ambleside and it was honestly the cutest town I've ever been in in my life. It was full of bed and breakfasts, cute little shops, and restaurants. We stayed in the cutest bed and breakfast I've ever seen in my life and had the whole place to ourselves. The family who owned it made us a gourmet English breakfast and I am officially in love with crumpets.
- We've seriously been to so many museums I can't even count them all. We became pretty good at finding the kids crafts rooms (we're great fine arts students, I know) but I finally discovered that listening to Iron and Wine while going through the gallery makes it much more enjoyable. Civil Wars will do the trick, too. I'm becoming pretty cultured if you couldn't tell.
- Everyone who told me I was going to freeze my behind off can finally say they told me so. This weekend we have had a major snowstorm and I don't think I've ever been so cold in my life.
- We went to the Beatles Museum in Liverpool. I was pretty excited to tell everyone my parents had lunch with Ringo Starr. It's pretty much my only round about claim to fame. I was also pretty happy I took History of Rock with Charlie Kerr twice in high school. Who would have ever guessed in a million years that would be one of the classes from high school I actually used in the future? Not me. Sorry Charlie.
- On one of the coldest days of my life we went on a church history tour in Preston. Even though most of my body was numb, it was an incredible experience. Joseph Smith said the Preston was the mission that saved the Church when it was reorganized. We got to see the river where the first baptisms in the reorganized church took place. We heard incredible stories about the church in Preston that I'm too tired to recall at the moment so you'll just have to take my word that it was a very spiritual experience and the Church is true. Our experience in Preston gave me a deeper appreciation for the pioneers than ever before and I honestly don't think I could have done what they did.
- I love and miss my family so much it's ridiculous. I am so grateful families are forever.
- Chocolate here is way too good. I am going to be huge when I get home.

A series of unfortunate events (british edition)
Sorry I've been MIA. After a series of unfortunate events, I don't have a camera charger or a laptop chord. Consequently, my blogging has been lacking big time. There's a million things I could post about, but unfortunately I don't have any pictures so I'll just make a quick list for anyone who is dying to know what I've been up to-- ha ha.
