I go to church with 3 other girls in Mitchum, about an hour away. We have to take the tube and a tram and I honestly don't know how we made it. We averted a few very close calls of getting on the wrong trains and thank goodness for a lady in the ward who recognized us and took us to the building from the tram spot or we would probably still be wandering around Mitchum. Our ward was tiny and was very different than any ward I've ever been in. The Spirit was the same though. I love that. The pianist was struggling and the Bishop stood up in the middle of the song and told us to sing a different one. Like I said, different, but good. Then he invited us BYU girls up to talk for a few minutes. I have a feeling this is definitely going to prepare me for my mission! We started our callings today as the new primary teachers. The kids were adorable, but crazy. All the little girls wanted me to hold them and to plat (braid) my hair. One asked me if I was aloud to wear trousers, haha, and one told me she wished she could take me home with her after church. She cried when her turn was up to sit on my lap. They are adorable and have great famous singers'/bands names like Shakira and Abba.
The rest of the day consisted of running around town trying to find good free wi-fi to Skype with, having our first high table dinner, and listening to a fireside by the cutest old man you'll ever see who lived during the London Blitz.
Sundays are good.
Pray that I'll be able to fall asleep before 3 am tonight.
Cheers!
