Little Miss | Week 23

Size of baby: Baby's as big as a grapefruit! She's about one foot and one pound :)
Movement: This little girl is a mover! Our new favorite thing to do in sacrament meeting is watch her move across my tummy (and listen to the speakers, of course). She always seems to be wiggly at that time... I guess she's just moved by the Spirit ;) It's so crazy to actually see my belly move!
Looking forward to: Buying summer-y maternity clothes. It's so warm and beautiful here but the only maternity clothes I have are winterish! I'm so sick of wearing black leggings every day haha I've been raiding my (and my mom's) closet to find anything that will possibly fit over my bump that is not long or black. I squeezed into an old pair of shorts this week (with the hair tie trick, of course) and I won't be doing that again! Ouch. I definitely need to stock up on some flowy dresses and stretchy shorts!!  I also still feel like I'm at a somewhat awkward stage where if I'm not wearing something form fitting I just feel like I look chubby. I'm looking forward to that going away, if it ever does, haha.
Random: The other night I went into our room where Ben was reading so he could see little miss moving around my tummy. He put his hand on my tummy and she kicked him so then we joked about him kissing my tummy and getting kicked. He leaned in, kissed my tummy, and bam! Girlfriend kicked him right where he kissed :) Hahahah. She is sassy already :) One more random thing, at 23 weeks baby girl can officially hear my voice! This definitely means I'm going to be talking to my belly from here on out :)
Best moment of the week: We went to the Parade of Homes, one of my very favorite things in this world, and got lots of ideas for baby's future nursery! We are just SO excited for her to get here (in four months hahah). Also, I babysat my adorable little neighbor this week and Ben helped out when he wasn't working. Playing with her and her cute sisters made us even more excited for our little family! Ben even said he would like to have all girls :) I just had to document that so that when we're having our fourth girl someday he can remember he asked for it ;) He also changed his first poopy diaper.. he's going to be such a good daddy!
