Size of baby: Our little girl is about the size of a head of cauliflower. I think my pregnancy app is running out of fruits and veggies to compare my growing baby too ;)
Movement: She's still a little wiggly worm! I read that you should count the number of times your baby moves to make sure that they're healthy. Baby was supposed to move about 10 times within an hour. I took the test and she moved about 10 times in about 5 minutes hahah :)
Looking forward to: Her nursery!! This week while we were in Salt Lake we stopped by the only Deseret Book left with a fabric section and found the perfect fabric for her crib bedding/car seat canopy! I'm kind of dying over it and I can't wait for all of it to come together! I'm especially excited to see her cuddled up in her adorable crib :)
Random: We spent the weekend in Provo/Salt Lake with my parents, Mandi, and Lyn and her family. The night that we got there Cole (age 5) came running up to me, gave me a hug, and told me, "Now I know you're having a baby because I can see it!" Hahah my tummy is definitely growing! Later in the weekend he told me, very seriously, that he hopes my baby comes safely and that he just can't wait to play with his new cousin. I can't wait either, buddy! Baby girl is so blessed to have so many fun cousins! One more random note, I updated my maternity wardrobe and I'm loving life so much more. I never would have guessed how much I would love pants with stretchy bands at the top. It's like wearing sweat pants and I don't know if I'll ever be able to go back to button and zipper pants, haha.
Best moment of the week: 1. Girlfriend had her first date with little Mr. Wilson. Haha. We got to see our BFFs Marissa and Seth at a wedding this weekend, hallelujah! Marissa is due in a few weeks with her little boy (yay!!) and we, of course, have already arranged our kiddos marriage. We decided that the wedding was their first official date, with all four parents present as chaperones. They will have many more to come ;)
2. We went to the Provo Temple open house this weekend. It was absolutely beautiful and the Spirit was undeniable. While we watched the introductory video before we went into the temple I felt the Spirit so strongly and baby girl was doing an acrobatic routine so I think she felt the Spirit too :) This was her third temple!
"'No,' I say, 'you are doing it wrong. You are failing as parents.
You should be so vigorous, healthy, in the pink of condition, so inexhaustible, robust, jolly, full
of devilry and frolic, of stories, of dramatizations, of actions, of backward
somersaults, or athletics and tomfoolery, of hilarity, that your children at
last after hours of violent exercise, worn down by laughter and intellectual
excitement, with pale, neurasthenic frowns on their foreheads cry:
'Plee...eease, Mama, go to bed!'"
