I have been the biggest slacker ever and my poor blog has been neglected. I've been wanting to blog about a million things and just haven't gotten around to it so I decided to combine a few posts and this is what I came up with: Missionaries. They seem to be a big part of my life right now and I'm so grateful for them so this counts as my Thanksgiving post as well.
Last week one of my favorite people in this whole world, Austin Frazier, left on his mission (Washington D.C). I am so excited for him because he is one of those kids you know is going to be an amazing missionary. I absolutely loved getting to know Austin and the example he was to me. He always made me happy and I'm going to miss him like crazy. It's no secret, I had a bit of a crush.. okay, I was basically in love with this boy. haha.
A couple weeks ago, my good friend Logan and his good friend, Mark, came to St. George and stayed at my house for a few days. They both have their mission calls and wanted to do a session in the STG temple. We had a ton of fun going to Texas Roadhouse, 25 Main, and just hanging out, and I'm so glad I got to see them before they leave. They are great kids and are also going to be amazing missionaries. Logan's farewell was actually today, but I couldn't go because he lives too far away :(
Another good friend and missionary I'm especially thankful for is Elder Jensen Nelson. We've been writing most of his mission and he's actually coming home in less than two months.. crazy! His letters always come at exactly the time I need them and they keep me going. He's faced some pretty major trials and is still so positive and passionate about the gospel and his mission. He is an incredible missionary and person and I'm soo grateful for him.
I can't believe my good friends are old enough to be on missions, but I love it. I'm so blessed to have so many good examples in my life.
Also, I was accepted to BYU-I this week! :) I'm officially going to college.

It's a fun time to have so many friends out on missions. It's fun to write to them and to hear back on how they're doing. Fun times Kay! And congrats college girl!
