This one's for the girls

I don't know what to do with my blog. I really don't like having to write everything twice: in my journal and on my blog, but don't really know what else to do with it and don't want to get rid of it. So if you have any brilliant ideas, please send them my way.
For now, I'll share this lovely thought with you.
Never stop striving for the best that is within you. Never stop hoping for all of the righteous desires of your heart. But don’t close your eyes and hearts to the simple and elegant beauties of each day’s ordinary moments that make up a rich, well-lived life. -Dieter F. Uchtdorf
How much do we love Dieter? This is from his Forget Me Not talk and honestly the whole thing is exactly what every girl needs to hear every day. So, go read it. I promise you'll love it and will feel inspired to take on the world. Something we all need every once in a while, right? My visiting teachers read the Forget Me Not book when they visited me and I absolutely fell in love with it. I keep reading over the talk and have been thinking about it all week. Right now my brain is fried from studying all night though and I can't share all of my inspired thoughts with you. Too bad, I know. So you'll just have to read it for yourself here.
Oh! And happy November! If you're having a rough day just remember, 3 weeks from today we'll all be feasting.

I absolutely LOVE that talk so so much!!! P.S. I no longer keep a journal. I print off my blog into a book once a year. :)

I LOVE that quote. Thank you for sharing it. And yes, I love Pres. Uchtdorf as well. He's my fave to listen to during conference.

As for your blog...For the past two years I've used a website to help me turn our family blog into a book. I have one for 2010 and for 2011. It's really fun to have. Maybe you can nix the journal, use your blog as your journal (except for really person stuff), and print it every so often. That way you have pictures, quotes, everything! Just a thought...
