First of all, I've been pregnant for 200 days today!!! Only 80-ish to go hahah :)
Size of baby: She's about the size of an eggplant :)
Movement: Up until this week, I mainly felt her move around the bottom of my tummy. She always seemed to sit really low. This week I've started feeling her up closer to my ribs--she's never ventured up there before! I was also laying on my right side one night and felt her way over on my side, it was so weird. I guess she really is growing! :)
Looking forward to: So many things! Celebrating Easter this weekend with our cute niece and nephews made Ben and I so excited for future holidays with our own kiddos. There's just something magical about seeing a holiday through a child's eyes :) We did celebrate by dying a pink Baby M Easter egg (featured in the pictures) and we may have bought baby girl a my first Easter outfit on the Target Easter clearance today ;) Being able to breathe is also something I'm really looking forward to! My insides feel all squished up and it's pretty uncomfortable/hard to breathe when I'm sitting... so church has become pretty interesting haha. We'll see how the next 12 weeks go! I think most of all I'm just excited to hold our little girl in my arms. As much as I love feeling her in my tummy, I can't wait for the moment I get to hold her (and look at her!) and day dream about it all the time!
Random: We spent Easter weekend in Vegas with my sister and her cute family. I was cuddling with my 3 year old niece and we were talking about a blanket her mom made her. She asked her mom why she didn't put purple in it (because purple is her favorite color) and her mom told her she made it out of her baby blankets and she didn't have any purple baby blankets. I told her we would have to buy a purple blanket for her cousin (my baby). A few minutes later we had changed the subject when she lifted up the blanket we were using, put her little hands on my tummy, and told me, "we will have to buy purple blanky for dis baby!" I told her we definitely would and she contentedly pulled the blanket back over my tummy :) Maybe you had to be there but it was just so precious. I can't wait for these little girls to grow up together!
Best moment of the week: Speaking of nieces, another was born just this week!! Little Nora Grace is adorable and just 3 months older than baby girl :) I hope that these girls live close to each other someday since they are so close in age! Another great moment this week was making it to my 3rd trimester!! Woot woot! Even though I'm already experiencing some of the not so fun side effects (lower back, hip, and leg pain, not being able to sleep, indigestion, etc) I'm SO excited to be that much closer to meeting baby girl. We're in the home stretch, people!
