Ellie Grace {7 months} ♡

7 months with our Ellie belly girlfriend! We love this sweet, tiny girl more and more every day ♡

7 Month stats:

Loves to smack her lips and blow raspberries! We just try to avoid the raspberries when she's eating :) This morning at church she was sitting on my lap facing me. She looked me right in the eye, leaned toward my face, stuck her tongue out and blew raspberries (and some baby spit) in my face! Hahaha this little girl is not lacking in personality :)

• Still loves her tongue! I'm pretty sure it's sticking out at least 50% of the time.
• Loves to be sitting up all the time now. She likes to lean and reach for things when she's sitting but hasn't attempted crawling yet. I'm okay with that :)
• Loves her baby food! She's a really good eater now and enjoys basically anything we'll give her! 
• As much as she loves to eat, she is not a fan of her bib. The other day she pulled it off and dropped it on the ground--like I said, no lack of personality :)
• Has some sort of intolerance to rice. She throws up whenever she eats it :( 
• Loves to talk! She'll gab to herself the whole time she's playing and it's really adorable
• Is getting faster at nursing by the day. She hardly takes longer than 15 minutes anymore.
• Loves to be my helper in the kitchen. She's perfectly content to sit in her bumbo and just watch while I do dishes and cook. I like to explain to her what I'm doing (because she's the only person I have to talk to all day and she's a great listener ;) ) and I can't wait until she can be my little helper!
• Her favorite thing to do is play with a basket of odds and ends in her room. After every bath I sit her on the floor and let her take everything out of the basket while I brush her hair. She takes everything out one thing at a time and examines it before putting it in a pile. It's pretty cute. She could seriously be entertained by this basket for hours and whenever she's upset her basket will cheer her right up :)
• Is getting more cuddly when she's tired! I LOVE IT. Ellie cuddles are the best thing in the whole entire world!
• LOVES to people watch. I can't get her attention when we're in public and she has no interest in her toys because she's so fascinated by just watching people. At Church she likes to watch the kids around us play and will squeal at them when she gets really excited about what they're doing :)
• Has started sucking her thumb--yikes! It's so adorable but I do my best to stop it
• Her favorite things to play with are the tags on her toys--she can find the tag on any toy--and the remotes to our TV
• Her favorite books are all of her animal books. She's not a big fan of rhyming books for whatever reason haha
• Is basically the sweetest girl in the whole world and we love her to pieces!


Ellie's pictures were especially tricky this month! All she wanted to do was play with the sticker I was trying to put on her shirt or eat the white board so we had to recruit her elephant to join her :)
